MK Health Rides are the cycling version of our amazing Health Walks.

These bike rides enable you to make new friends, improve your health, stay active, and have fun for free! These staff-led activities offer an excellent opportunity to explore Milton Keynes' green spaces.

Meeting every other week at Campbell Park Pavilion this Health Ride group will explore Campbell Park, the Canal Broadwalk, Ouzel Valley and Willen Lake. With different routes planned each time to keep the rides exciting and interesting. 

What else do you need to know?  

  • The event is free, and no booking is required—just turn up and enjoy the ride!  
  • The ride is beginner-friendly and at a gentle pace
  • Distance is around 8km (5 miles), taking approximately 60 minutes.  
  • Please arrive ready to ride, ideally by bike, wearing suitable clothing for cycling and ensuring your bike is in good working order. Our team will be on hand to help with any last-minute questions or adjustments.
  • There are no public toilets or refreshments at this location, so please bring your own drink to stay hydrated. The nearest local facilities are at Willen Lake, or at the Campbell Wharf Marina pub / café.
  • We recommend that you should wear a cycle helmet that conforms to current regulations, is the correct size and is securely fastened.
  • Any under-16s must be accompanied by an adult.  
  • All participants should be able to ride a bike safely in a small group.

Route details

  • The rides will follow a mix of leisure routes, and Redways, and may include short sections on very quiet roads.
  • Each route has been carefully planned and checked to ensure they are suitable for all riders and bike types.
