Workshop: Junior Playground Architects
Join The Parks Trust at Stony Stratford Library and create your perfect playground out of recycled resources!
As part of the Wetland Arc Project, The Parks Trust is keen to know:
- What is your favourite thing to play on?
- What would be in your dream park?
- What wild and wonderful ideas do you have to help us make playgrounds better?
All materials will be provided - all you need is your imagination!
This workshop is aimed at under-18s. All participants must be accompanied by a responsible adult, who needs to remain with their child/ren throughout the workshop. Please note: adults do not need to book a space for this workshop - please book a space for each child/young person attending only.
The workshop will take place on the ground floor of the library, which is accessible and has a toilet. There is free parking available near the library - download this map to see where you can park.
We would like to make this event accessible for all, so please email wetlandarc@theparkstrust.com for any further accessibility information or support. A hearing loop is available on request.
What is the Wetland Arc?
This is an exciting Heritage Lottery-funded project that is being carried out by The Parks Trust, an independently-financed charity looking after much of the parkland in Milton Keynes. Over the next two years, local residents will have the opportunity to share their opinions on the parks along the River Great Ouse in the north of Milton Keynes. At the end of the project, a grand masterplan will have been created, with a long list of ideas and tasks that we will then seek funding for. We look forward to receiving your feedback and ideas. A link to the survey will be included here as soon as it is live.
