Tree Maths
Improve your student’s maths skills using mother nature! For our Tree Maths tasks, you will need to be in an area with a forest of trees. This can be anywhere from a park, woodland or garden.
Students will learn how to estimate the age of a tree, as well as learn the height of the tree with simple calculations and practices.
While doing this activity, why not challenge students to use the A-Z Tree Identification resource to identify the trees they are looking at?
