Have you ever wondered what happens to our wildlife in the winter?

Join our outdoor learning team on a hibernation adventure in your local parkland. We will learn how and why animals hibernate, and what happens to those who don’t.

This session is only available from the last week in November to February half term. 

 

How does this session link to the National Curriculum? (Key Stage 1)
  • Identify and name a variety of common animals.
  • Describe and compare the structure of a variety of common animals.
  • Recognise that living things can be grouped in a variety of ways.
  • Identify how animals and plants are adapted to suit their environment in different ways.
