Environmental Heroes
Learn about important messages such as living sustainably, looking after some of our most underappreciated creatures, and what it takes to make a park wildlife friendly in this fun-filled interactive session!
Summary
How can we practise being environmentally friendly in our local parks? This interactive session is designed to teach students how to achieve key behavioural principles when spending time outdoors, and how we can each make a positive impact on the environment.
With a focus on environmental sustainability, the activities are designed to encourage your students to be more environmentally aware and practise sustainability in all aspects of life, to learn about unloved (but important) animals such as earthworms, and what goes into designing a wildlife-friendly park in our city.
Please see session plan for further information on what activities you might expect.
