Join the Voices of Women Milton Keynes and other organising groups on Tuesday 25th November, White Ribbon Day, for the Orange and White Exhibition and Vigil, aising awareness about violence against women and girls.

Opening Ceremony

The event begins at 5:30pm in Silbury Walk, Centre:MK, with an official opening by MK Mayor, Cllr James Lancaster. The exhibition will showcase handmade crafts created by local organisations and artists, highlighting the power of creativity in advocacy.


Craftivism for a Safer City Exhibition

Open from 25th November at 5:30pm until 10th December at Centre:MK, this exhibition features impactful craft pieces designed to inspire change and promote safety.


Vigil at The MK Rose

Following the opening, a procession to the MK Rose will begin at 5:45pm, where a Vigil will take place. Expect moving reflections, readings, and the symbolic tying of a white ribbon around the entire MK Rose.


Daytime Craft Display

Weather permitting, local crafters will decorate the pillars earlier in the day. These installations will be available to view from midday, offering a powerful visual experience during daylight hours.
