Come and experience the wonderful world of orchards and their bounty. Learn about why they form such an important part of our heritage and how they benefit both people and wildlife at our community orchard at Woughton on the Green on Saturday 21st October from 12 to 3pm.
It will be a family-friendly afternoon packed full of fun apple-themed activities, crafts and games. Visitors will be able to have a go at hand pressing apples to make juice, enjoy a guided walk with Midshires orchard group and learn fascinating facts from our biodiversity experts.
This event is free to attend, and you can find us in the orchard located between Newport Road and the canal (near the allotments).
Parking is available at Woughton Playing Fields. Follow the signs for a short walk to the orchard.
