Apple Day

Ouzel Valley Park

Saturday 19 October
11am - 3pm
Free
Suitable for all ages

Join us on Saturday 19th October from 11am – 3pm at Woughton on the Green Community Orchard, what3words///fees.belong.bolt, for a fun filled afternoon discovering the wonderful world of orchards and their bounty.

Do not miss the opportunity to learn about the heritage with the Old Woughton Parish Council and how they benefit both local people and wildlife.

Discover more about the orchard and the diverse varieties of apples with the Mid-shires Orchard Group as they take you on an immersive tour around the Cider Orchard.

Enjoy food and live music, and support local charities and businesses.

Look out for "From Garden to Jar", a local business selling delicious homemade jams and chutneys.

Take part in themed crafts with our Outdoor Learning Team, firing an apple from our very own catapult, bird ringing (weather dependant)

and creating willow art masterpieces led by a willow weaving professional.

Do not miss the chance to get your face painted and hear incredible stories with a storyteller. And to stay hydrated, make you own juice with the apple pressing equipment with the Woughton Community Council.

The event is designed for all ages. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
