Apple Day

Join us on Saturday 18th October 2025 from 12pm – 4pm at Woughton on the Green Community Orchard, for a fun filled afternoon discovering the wonderful world of orchards and their bounty. The event will take place at What3Words location debit.each.fetch.

This fun-filled event will have lots of activities for everyone to enjoy alongside the opportunity to explore and learn more about the Community Orchard:

• Learn about the heritage with the Old Woughton Parish Council and how they benefit both local people and wildlife.
• Discover more about the orchard and the diverse varieties of apples with the Mid-shires Orchard Group as they take you on an immersive tour around the Woughton on the Green Community Orchard.
• Take part in apple pressing and make your own juice with Woughton Community Council – please bring your own cartons/ containers if you can.
• Enjoy food and live music and support local charities and businesses.
• Watch entertainment from a Bubble Performer.
• Make your own apple bird feeder to take home.

This event is designed for families and children, and remember, children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

Parking along Newport Road is strictly for residents only. Please park in the car park at sports.rating.vine. Please see map here.

As a sustainable alternative, there will also be bicycle parking available at the entrance to the event. Please note; we do not accept responsibility for any loss, theft or damage to bicycles or related equipment.
