When you pay for car parking at Willen Lake, you’re helping us to fund the development and maintenance of over 40 parks in Milton Keynes.

You can catch the number 8 bus from Milton Keynes town centre to 'Woolstone Roundabout West'.

Walking down from the bus stop, take the first right at the redway junction under the main road, then take your first left into Willen Lake. 

You can drop people off in any of the Willen Lake car parks, please note that car parking charges do apply. There is a grace period of 10 minutes, anything over that is deemed as parking.

There is good access at Willen Lake, with surfaced paths and dedicated parking spaces at both the North and South car parks. A disabled toilet can be found in the Splash ‘n’ Play complex. A changing places toilets is also be available in our Watersports Centre.

Please note, there are steep gradients at the flood control structure and up to Peace Pagoda. Access to the bird hide is via an unmade path, the alternative path is via the South Lake.
