Guided by one of our welcoming walk leaders, this walk explores ancient woodlands featuring visits to Shenley Wood and Howe Park Wood and brings you back via the North Bucks Way on Thursday 1st August at 10am.
Even though the walk is planned to be in shaded areas please make sure to come dressed appropriately for the weather, with sturdy footwear. We would also advise you to bring something to drink.

The Women’s Walking Network is a great way to discover the hidden gems of Milton Keynes while encouraging women to come together and make new friends! Held on the first Thursday of every month, we visit a different park each month to give everyone the chance to explore all the green spaces we care for. Each walk varies in distance but are usually around 4 miles in length and cover a variety of footpaths including steps and slopes on occasion.
Please note that these walks are run at quite a brisk pace, so if you’re looking for something gentler, then we would recommend trying out an MK Health Walk or one of our Discovery Strolls.
Unfortunately, we don’t accept dogs on the walks, with the exception of assistance dogs.
Booking is not required - we hope to see you there!
