Community Volunteering: Orchard Antics
Join us for a day of bramble and scrub bashing in Woughton Community Orchard ahead of Apple Day!
Join us for a hands-on session at the Woughton Community Orchard as we clear away some of the bramble and brush that affects the orchard, and prepare the orchard for it's Golden Celebration on Apple Day!
Learn about some of the 120 varieties of cider apple, perry pears and labelling the plum trees.
We'll tackle the prickly intruders together and give our orchard room to breathe, blossom, and grow. Your help will ensure this cherished space stays healthy and inviting for both people and wildlife.
We will be unlocking the gates to cut back the brambles in making space for the apple trees to thrive, wildflowers to flourish, and wildlife to enjoy a more balanced habitat.
