Join us on a short, guided walk of Caldecotte Brook on Tuesday 15th October from 2pm as part of our Discovery Strolls Programme. Our guide will introduce you to some of the interesting features of the lesser known parkland, and hopefully some of its wildlife.

Discovery Strolls are designed to give you an introduction to the park and the confidence to explore the local area, interesting points on the route and to find out what facilities are available on site. A member of The Parks Trust team will lead the walk and answer any questions you may have. The walk is at a gentle pace and will allow time for informal chat and any questions you might have.

The local car park at Britten Grove is the closest car park and drop-off point. What3Words location noses.skin.output. The car park is for the local shops and local centre so may be busy so please allow time to arrive, and park considerately. Please aim to arrive shortly before the scheduled time as we will set off at 2pm.

The event duration is approximately 1 hour-1.5 hours. On this walk we will stick to leisure routes on gravel paths, some of which may be slightly uneven. Our guide will ensure that the route is as accessible as possible.

Some of the walking surfaces may be slightly uneven, so please come with sturdy footwear and dressed appropriately for the weather.

There are no public toilet facilities at this location.

Please get in touch on events@theparkstrust.com if you require any accessibility support or to request a hearing loop.

All ages are welcome but children must be accompanied by an adult. Dogs unfortunately are unable to join these walks with the exception of assistance dogs.

No booking is required for this event. We hope to see you there!

If you require a more accessible event please look for our series of accessible walks, and if you would like a more in-depth Walk & Talk please look at those events for an expert guided walk around our parks with more interesting details about heritage and wildlife.
