Walking Festival: Introduction to Nordic Walking

Join this introduction walk to Nordic Walking on Sunday 12th May at 10am. Discover the amazing benefits of being active outdoors without putting too much pressure on your body that can come after other vigorous activities like running.

Starting at Campbell Park pavilion our experienced Nordic Walking trainer and Walk Leader will talk you through the basic techniques, and then lead a walk. This session will take approximately 60-90 minutes.

All necessary equipment will be provided for the walk, but please be considerate of weather conditions and wear appropriate footwear and clothing.

The Event is Free but booking is required as spaces are very limited.

Parking is limited at this site, but there is additional parking available at Canalside Car Park, a 1-minute walk away. This event is not suitable for dogs to attend, except for assistance dogs.
