Talk: Biodiversity in our Parks

Monday 11 November
18:30 - 20:00

A member of our Biodiversity Team will lead this talk to celebrate the wildlife that lives in MK. They will discuss some of the interventions that team has undertaken to encourage wildlife to thrive, the surveying that is helping monitor populations and help guide The Parks Trust's management of the landscape, and explore the problems that wildlife is facing and the competing pressures of providing green spaces for a growing city.

This talk will take place on Monday 11th November at Howe Park Wood Education Centre where seating and a small selection of hot drinks will be provided. This talk will be delivered with the use of visual aids. Talk notes and handouts can be provided on request.  There are toilets on site. A hearing loop is available on request.

Please note due to the time of this talk, it will be dark when you leave the building and there is limited lighting outside the centre.  If you have any further accessibility concerns, please contact us to find out more.  This talk is suitable for adults and children over 12 who have an interest in biodiversity. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Booking essential.
