Workshop: Wellbeing Wander for Adults

Linford Wood

Wednesday 05 June
16:45 - 18:30

Adults only

Get in touch with the natural world on World Environment Day! This relaxing walk through the woodland offers an opportunity to slow down from our busy lives and reconnect with the natural world that surrounds us.

We will be following Forest Bathing techniques developed in Japan in the 1980’s that have been found to lower blood pressure, reduce stress, and improve memory and concentration. Some findings even show it can help us stay healthy - nature is a powerful healer!

Book to secure your place and experience this immersive afternoon on Friday 5th June at Linford Wood.

Please note this is an adults-only session.Linford Wood is a mixture of hard paths and muddy trails.  There are no toilets at this site. There are several cafes nearby. Please get in touch on outdoorlearning@theparkstrust.com if you require any accessibility support or to request a hearing loop.

This event is part of our outdoor learning programme which is designed to help people learn more about their local parks and the natural environment.

Booking is required.
