Heritage Open Days: Tour of Milton Keynes Rose

Milton Keynes Rose

Sunday 18 September (other dates available)

This event is in the past. This page is for information purposes only.

The Milton Keynes Rose provides a place where citizens and visitors can gather to mark national, local or personal occasions, be they historical, in joy or in remembrance. It is a place for the people of Milton Keynes to celebrate, commemorate and mark occasions important to them – a place where hundreds can gather to mark Armistice Day or one person can remember another in a personal moment. It is not a somber place, but a place of coming together and celebration.
Visitors will get the chance to explore the Milton Keynes Rose and particularly those pillars which celebrate and commemorate the heritage of Milton Keynes and those people associated with the area who were innovators in may ways.

Guided tours by members of the Milton Keynes Rose Trust at 2pm & 3pm on Sunday 18 September 2022 as part of Heritage Open Days.  Tours are free and all are welcome.
