Poetry Trail
Great Linford Manor Park
28/07/2022 - 04/09/2022In the wake of our highly successful poetry competition, we're delighted to announce that the Poetry Trail featuring the winning entries is now open!
The overall winning poems from each of the Adult, Secondary and Primary age categories, and the runners-up, have been made into a temporary trail that explores the theme of water in Great Linford Manor Park. This special site benefits from newly restored Water Garden ponds as well as the Grand Union Canal, making water a central part of the landscape's story.
Mark Niel, MK Poet Laureate and competition judge said, "judging was difficult across the three age categories with a stimulating debate on the merits of each poem. However, we reached a consensus and delighted with the winning poems."
There are 12 poems to find on the trail and they are located on both sides of the canal. Click on the map below to view.
