Ever wanted to help make a difference by getting involved in surveying wildlife? Then join us to find out how! Citizen science schemes rely on everyday people to record biological information about their area. This allows scientists to collect large amounts of data from all of the people that take part. If you have ever been interested in participating in one of these projects, but wanted to learn more about ecology first, now is your chance.

Come along to this citizen science taster session to learn a variety of survey techniques as well as what to look out for when ID-ing key species. From quadrats and transects to freshwater invertebrates and butterflies, there are lots of discoveries to be made on this course!
